SPATIAL CONTEXT

Spatial context helps us define features of episodic memory. When we write about a moment we're in, it's embedded in our minds to where it occurred.

Spatial context involves details like time and place and enriches our recollections. In this project, spatial context, saved in the mind and ... the diaries, is vital for precise storytelling, guiding your through the journey with contextualized images.

#31 LIFE ON MARS

Pit of Sulfur, Iceland (15.06.2014) x Lake Powell, USA (2.05.2015)

Today, the land of ice still captivates just as much. In 2015, while visiting the second largest man-made lake in North America, Stéphanie sees double. For a moment, the red rock and crystalline waters of Lake Powell remind her of her Icelandic adventure. The photographic composition brings together two landscapes that share the same hues, the same atmospheres. Poetic and spectacular landscapes, a source of reconnection with our memories and the foundation of our imagination.
